Frequently Asked Questions

How do I schedule an appointment?

Please call our office! Our team is happy to help you schedule over the phone. If you are calling as a new patient, please be ready with your insurance information so we can set up your account.

Our number is : (775) 622 - 9078, Option 2

What is a refraction and how much does it cost?

A refraction is an eye test used to determine your prescription for eyeglasses. During the test, we measure how light bends as it enters your eye to determine the lens strength that will help you see as clearly as possible.

Our office offers refraction services; however, most medical insurance plans do not cover this portion of the eye exam. If your insurance does not cover the refraction, there will be a $35 out-of-pocket charge for this service.

What should I bring to my appointment?

When you come in for your appointment, please bring the following:

- Photo ID

- Insurance card(s)
